Fuzzy Feet

I finally knitted something for myself: a pair of felted slippers called Fuzzyfeet. The pattern, by Theresa Vinson Stenersen is surprisingly easy, even for someone like me who'd never knit a sock before.

If you're into blogging and knitting, you can join the fuzzyfeetalong and share your finished work with others.

Now that I've made my first pair, I'm hoping the weather will grow colder again, so I'll have an excuse to knit more Fuzzyfeet.

Sharon, they look great, and you got the stripes to match up perfectly! They're felted, aren't they?

Katie: They ARE cozy! I bet you could knit up a pair in no time. And they'd come in pretty handy up there, too.

Harriet: It's so cool to see you leaving a comment here! When are you going to make a pair of these?

They look so perfect for today's weather--and they're pretty, too! Unfortunately, I'm hopeless at knitting. (I blame my lefthandedness.)

Patry, I'm left handed too! (oops, sorry, guess that deflates your theory).

Sarah, I bet you could use them over there, too, huh? Knitting is very relaxing - good counterpoint to writing.

Thanks Patricia! Next time you come down this way, let me know and I'll see about arranging a pair for you.

I've never tried socks. I'm sure they would be faster to knit than the poncho I started months ago. Looks like I'll have it ready in time for next fall!

I didn't know you knit, Patti! What happened with the poncho? These fuzzyfeet were my first attempt at socks, and they really were pretty easy.
